Time for another 3CE review!
I'm a big fan of lip tints so I picked up this one whilst I was in Hong Kong. 3CE's water tints claim to be highly pigmented, long lasting, and moisturizing, so how could I resist?
The packaging: It's no secret that I freaking love the look of 3CE's packaging. The bottle is made of plastic so it's not too heavy.
The pigmentation: Just as 3CE claim, this is highly pigmented. You can even build it up for a really vibrant colour.
The water tint collection may be small but each of the colours are gorgeous. It took me a while to decide which one to get but eventually I picked Dark Fuschia which is a lovely dark pink.
|Not what I'm going for|
This may just be me screwing it up but whenever I apply this in a rush, most of the product just ends up on my bottom lip! While this can look kinda cool, it's not usually what I'm going for. To get around this, I've been applying the tint to my top lip first and then waiting a few seconds before rubbing my lips together. The sales assistant also mentioned that this product is good for doing gradient lips. I've tried it but I just don't think the look suits me.
The road test: I've noticed that the tint still looks pretty vibrant after I have lunch but it does fade towards the evening, so it's definitely one to have in your bag so you can reapply it in the afternoon. The formula isn't too drying but I wouldn't say it's moisturizing either.
Overall: The main problem I have with this product is that I have to take extra care when applying it. I also wish the staying power was a little better but it definitely beats all of my lipsticks. Aside from those issues, I really do like using this product because of its awesome colour.
